Today youth unemployment in developing and backward countries is a matter of great concern. Due to unemployment, the youth have to work in less skilled employment than their capacity. In view of this, on the initiative of Sri Lanka, on 11 November 2014, the United Nations General Assembly decided to celebrate 15 July every year as World Youth Skills Day. After which World Youth Skills Day is celebrated on 15 July all over the world to strengthen the youth. The day is observed to raise awareness about the importance of investing in skill development of youth. Where about 42 crore youth live in India. There are many such young people out there who have made their mark on the basis of their hard work and dedication and have written their success story. Tilak Mehta: Seeing the troubles of the father, the school going child created a company worth crores
The position that Tilak Mehta of Mumbai achieved at a young age makes him different from the rest of the children. Tilak, who aspired to become an entrepreneur, started a logistics service company named Papers and Parcels (PnP). Paper & Parcel delivers small parcels. You will not believe that Tilak Mehta, who studied in school, had set up a company worth crores at the age of just 13. When Tilak was young, he needed to get books from another city. His father came tired from work so he could not ask him for his work and there was no one else who could be called upon. The company was created by making this idea a business. Tilak told this idea to a banker. The banker liked the idea and quit his job to take Tilak's startup company to fruition as chief executive officer (CEO). Tilak took advantage of Mumbai's vast network of dabbawalas to ensure the parcel reaches its destination within 24 hours. PNP's services are mostly availed by clients like pathology labs, boutique shops and brokerage companies. Now Tilak Mehta has set a target of Rs 100 crore for the company by 2020. At the same time, he wants the company to expand to 20 percent in the logistics market.
Shravan Kumaran and Sanjay Kumaran: In the desire to do something different, these two brothers set up an app developer company
There is no age to dream and fulfill them. If a person wants to do something, what can he not achieve? Two brothers from Chennai, Shravan Kumaran and Sanjay Kumaran, have achieved the distinction of becoming India's youngest entrepreneur at such a young age of just 14 and 12 years. Together these two brothers launched the 'Design Dimensions' app in the year 2012. Till now both of them have developed 11 apps. The annual earnings of his company Go Dimensions are 120 crores. When these two brothers created the first mobile app, they were students of Class VII and Class VIII. Shravan and Sanjay were educated like ordinary children. But inspired by their parents, both of them thought of doing something different. His father told him from the very beginning that you should make your own identity. The same thing struck home in the minds of these two brothers. What was it then, these two brothers started searching for new things. Both these brothers created an app named 'Go Donate'. The left over food can be easily delivered to the poor children through this app. Till now both of them have developed 12 apps together. Today everyone has become convinced of the talent of these two brothers.
Advaita Ravindra Thakur: At the age of becoming a class monitor, became the CEO of the company
At the age when children become class monitors, Advaita Ravindra Thakur has become the CEO of his company. At the age of nine, Advaita Ravindra Thakur from Mumbai launched his own website and before he doubled his age, he became the CEO of his company.
